Tetum Spellchecker for MS Word (Win, Mac)
This spell checker is based on the official (RDTL Government Decree 2004/01, April 2004) and standard Tetum as developed by Timor-Leste's Instituto Nacional de Linguistica (National Institute of Linguistics) or INL, based at UNTL. You can learn more about it on any good INL-sponsored Tetum texts and dictionaries.

Lonely Planet Tetum Phrasebook
For the travellers who need a quick Tetum phrase to get around in Timor-Leste, here is a Lonely Planet Tetum Phrasebook which my colleague Prof John Hajek and I wrote back in year 2000. A new edition of this phrasebook was published in 2008 (this is the first edition). You can get one from a good bookshop or order it directly from the Lonely Planet website. For those who want to learn Tetum, a lot of people have also found this book useful for this purpose.
What I am working on
Apart from the spellchecker, I am also working towards a dictionary for Tetum. It's a big project which requires a lot of time to complete. Using only a database software called Filemaker, this dictionary is designed to be made available electronically (web based, or as a smartphone app). You will be able to do obtain translations, definitions, synonyms, etc. It started off just as a simple wordlist, but it has since grown into a monster. Here is a sample:
